Tuesday we were on exchanges, I was with Elder Lund, he is a great missionary and we worked a lot in Des Moines and Burien, which are some really... Fun areas. Lots of... Fun people, I love it there! I love talking with so many people all the time and just sharing the gospel, it's the best. Then Wednesday Elder Madsen and I apparently signed up for a new game show "Who can talk to the most Hispanics in under an hour" and I'm pretty sure we won, we talked with 2 guys one was really interested, boom referral. Then one lady walking down the street wanted to meet missionaries, boom referral. Then the first two guys told us where we could go to talk with many people, we went and we met 7 drunk Hispanics at 3pm on a Wednesday, so awesome! No referrals from there but it was interesting! Then one last guy as we were walking back to our car, so fun.
Thursday zone conference, so good, learned how to use the Book of Mormon and also the Spirit taught me to really figure out why investigators sometimes don't keep commitments instead of just being sad they didn't keep it, and that actually helped a lot this week! Then Friday elder Madsen had a doctor's appointment and he doesn't have carpal tunnel! Let's go! That, traffic, and weekly planning was our day. Saturday we met some other people, it was good. Sunday was church, gotta love it. Manny came, he is awesome!
This week was just a week that made me all excited to be a missionary again, not that I wasn't but it just added to the fire and I'm so stoked to be out here, teaching people and helping them recognize how Jesus Christ can help them through their struggles, it is such an awesome experience to witness that every day. Preach My Gospel says that we(missionaries) have a front row seat to the greatest miracle of all, the effect of Christ's Atonement in people's lives, I'm paraphrasing but it truly is the best. I love being a missionary! I know that this work is the Lord's. Oh also my caption is what it is because Elder Madsen stepped on the back of my foot the other day and the bottom of my shoe ripped off, so he gave me a pair he never uses #thankseldermadsen. And then he just said to me "this is the first time these shoes have ever gone out together". It was a strange sentence. But such is life
