Elder Schoemig's homecoming

More pictures - 7/8/19

That time my arm got crushed by a piano

So one quick story for the last couple days.
Basically I lived through 127 hours, we were helping members move a piano and we lifted it into a truck and my hand was on the back, the piano by the way was like a million pounds, anyways my hand almost got destroyed and I was stuck for a few seconds really but it hurt and I just pulled my hand out and my arm was really bruised, but we all good. It was a lot of fun!
Then yesterday was my last potluck in the branch, that was fun.
Anyways, I love serving the Lord! I will send an email next week! Love you all!

Departing missionaries - 7/4/19

Some of the departing missionaries of my group....There's alot!
(Mom's note:  there are 30 missionaries departing on the same day our son coming home but only 13 will be coming to SLC airport.  Yikes!)
ER when Elder Luckau crashed his bike....he's fine!

Van full of departing missionaries attending the temple with Pres. Wilding and his wife.

That time my mission president left..... AGAIN!

Hello everyone!
Last week was very crazy, I had a meeting every single day, Tuesday we had district council and that was good we talked about conversion.
Wednesday was President and Sister Wilding's last meeting with us, it was a half mission conference and it was very spiritual. Veyy similar to what happened with President Schofield last year. I am so glad I was able to serve with President Wilding, it was amazing to learn from his example and also Sister Wilding, she was always so excited!
Thursday was my departing temple trip with President Wilding, he took all of us who are going home this transfer. It was really good to be in the temple and I learned a lot this time going through. We also had lunch and said goodbye to President and Sister Wilding, we also met President and Sister Auna (ahh-oo-nah) early.
Friday we had a welcome conference for the Auna's, they are both from Hawaii and are awesome, they are so excited and so spirit led. It was really good to meet with them.
Saturday we weekly planned and had some lessons, it was good.
Sunday church was good, it was busy
Then this week we just had exchanges and district council again and things are going well. I had an interview with President Auna yesterday, he is awesome, it was very short and brief because I will meet with him again in a week or so it was good.
I love serving my Heavenly Father and helping people come closer to Christ, I've had a lot of really neat experiences learning about how missionaries bless the lives of people this week. I love this calling.
Love you all!
