That time that we did pretty alright
So this week and last week because I slacked last week!
Last week in summary, we teach lessons, we find some friends, we drive a lot, we sleep over in Olympia. That was a good week!
Then this week! We had a great MLC conference call that really inspired Elder Lund and I and we immediately implemented plans to make this zone poppin! and its picking up! we are super excited.
Three exchanges this week, Elder Rodriguez and I taught a lesson to Mark and Darla, and that was way fun! Elder Allmendinger and I drove a lot, and taught a group lesson that was way fun, we set up baptismal calenders for 5 people at once! that was fun.
Elder Mack Freeman and I fell way behind schedule but taught with the Spirit, it was wonderful!! I love being a missionary, sorry my emails are still kind of lame. I will try to do better!
Have a wonderful week!

That time I called home
Well everyone this week has been great! I got to call my family today, that was interesting. But I will be more diligent in writing emails. I am sorry, I will elaborate more next week on what happened this week. But the Lord is guiding us in our work and much is happening, the work of God is going forward in great strides here in ASL South. I love to be a called and set apart representative of my Savior Jesus Christ, this is exactly where I need to be. Sorry it's short! I will email you what happened more next week!
Love ya!

That time I got sick
So this week started off and we had great lessons in Tacoma and we learned a lot about following the Spirit. We taught the Word of Wisdom to one of our friends and saw the power as we testified to him of the truth of the revelation that Joseph Smith received. It was also wonderful to give him things that he could change about his life to improve the quality of it it was giving him power to change because he doesn't have a lot of things he can do to change his life situation but we gave him things to do and that was wonderful to see him want to change.
We are preparing Letitia to receive a patriarchal blessing! She had an appointment for yesterday! I'll tell how that went a little later.
(Elder Schoemig forgot to add what happened to Letitia, they had to postponed her patriarchal blessing because they cancelled church due to the snowstorm that Seattle has been having.)

Thursday we had MLC which was great of course and we learned about becoming "basic" missionaries, getting back to Preach My Gospel, having good studies, focusing on finding and teaching, we are excited. Also the mission exceeded out baptism goal for the month of January! That has never happened before! Also that morning I woke up pretty sick, and I had been getting kind of sick the two days before but just gotta keep on, so I woke up sick, went to MLC and was just by the end of it - basically the last two hours - was falling asleep and was so out of it and sick, it was rough, we then had to hurry down to Tacoma for a lesson and when we finally got home I was just so sick it was nuts. So I've been in the apartment since Thursday night except for Saturday we got super hungry and went out and bought a bunch of pizza and then yesterday we had ZLC meeting so that's been good.
In other news here in Washington, it snowed. Now I know all of you in Utah think, oh big whoop, but here it's a big deal, they don't have a lot of resources to deal with the snow, so people kind of freaked out, stores sold out of food, cars just stopped going, the city kind of shut down. It's been nuts.
But that was my week! Love you all!

Transfer week - 2/4/19

That time I went back to my other area
So I got transferred last week! Back to ASL S! With Elder Lund! If it feels like deja vu it's because it is! So great to be back in South, excited for this transfer!
In other news it is snowing here and we are not allowed to drive in the snow so we will see how this all works out. Hopefully it doesn't last for long so we can get out to the people who we need to see because we live 45 minutes out of our area. Pray for warmth!
Other news, we ended the week in ASL N in a tripack because Elder Camillo Gois went home. And had some great finding time and also a good meeting with the Lynnwood stake president.
Wednesdays was transfers and Elder Lund and I got to help out a bunch of elders in the zone because 3 new biking areas opened up here and we needed to carry around 7 bikes and no one has a bike rack except for us! So that took up all day:(
Then Thursday we had a group lesson in Tacoma, much is happening in the Tacoma area currently we are teaching 9 people there and more people just keep popping up.
Friday we found a new friend! Actually our first new friend out of Tacoma in a while because we just work there so often! So that is exciting! Elder Lund was also super sick so that was rough.
Saturday we taught some lessons and almost found 2 new friends, bummer. We will help them become closer to Jesus Christ this week!
Then yesterday was potluck, good day. Also it snowed, kind of rough.
Anyways, I know that this is the Lord's work, we are helping His children come closer to him. As we strive to overcome the negative parts of life through obedience and repentance we feel more joy than we ever thought possible because of the Holy Messiah. A great scripture I found this week, 2 Nephi 2:27-28.
Love you all!
