The Book of Elder Schoemig
Chapter 37
The Elders in the ASL South area work hard. They go on exchanges with the Assistants to the President. They have zone conference and see miracles follow. They teach twenty lessons.
1 And it came to pass, I, Elder Schoemig and my companion in the Lord, Elder Lund went forth into Lacey, where we taught the mighty people of the Wilson clan the everlasting gospel. They received it with much joy and gladness, there was much rejoicing together to see old friends.
2 But behold, on the morrow Elder Lund was taken up into Beverly Park, and so Elder Schoemig departed into the wilderness with Elder Ivie, where we learned much and taught the gospel to amongst the deaf and the deaf and blind.
3 Elder Lund returned to me. And it came to pass that we went into the Lynnwood area again to council with the Elders and Sisters in that land, after which we departed to the land which is at Tacoma to bless a member with a sore heart.
4 The Assistants to the President came down to the land of Seattle, and again took Elder Lund away to a distant land of Alderwood, Elder Messick and Elder Schoemig went to work at Tacoma. We taught many lessons and gave many people a knowledge of the gospel, many were referred to missionaries with the knowledge of the English language. Elder Lund was brought again to the land of ASL South.
5 On the morrow we returned to the land of Lynnwood for the conference of the zone. There the President of the Washington Everett mission taught much of the Gospel. Prayer and study were preached and repentance was required. We marveled at the glory of God on that day.
6 7 lessons were preached to people of all shapes and sizes. Two from the distant land of Bhutan. Several from Washington.
7 Behold we were faithful and diligent in striving to teach twenty lessons in this week, and we were still five away. And so we set out with faith thay the Lord would provide. And so He did, order lessons were taught on that, the last day of the week, so that the goal could be accomplished of teaching 20 lessons to the people of Washington, and we did pray to give thanks to the Lord our God for the marvelous blessings of miracles which did abound with us and our friends in the service of the Lord.
Love you all!
8 And thus Elder Schoemig took a photograph to prove that he was still alive for his mother.
