Blessings.....9/24/18

when members text me picture of our missionary.  Here is the picture of him and another Elder at the DI where they did service there.

That time I'm not getting transferred

Who is ready for transfer 7 in ASL S??? I know I am!!! I'm so excited to be here for some more time trying to help some more people! My companion Elder Bird is getting transferred so this will be my 5th companion next transfer and we are not sure who it will be, Elder Allmendinger and Elder Camillo Gois aren't getting transferred, we are not sure about Elder Madsen... So we just do not know for sure. Will let you know next week!
Anyways this week, I went on exchanges to the Spanish area here and I almost spoke Spanish. But not really, I don't know Spanish lol. But I had awesome conversations with fun people in that area! I understood like 70 percent of what was happening that was a cool gift of the Spirit!
Other than that, Friday I had to go to a training, that was good, learned a lot.
Then really we just tried to visit people but it didn't work a lot, it has been rough getting in touch with the people we are teaching right now. But the work continues and all that we can do is try our best and the Lord will do His own work! I love being a missionary. It is the best!
I love the Lord!

More pictures from SafeCo Field

We were very lucky to be able to get pictures of our son interpreting during the event.  We are grateful for the members and Elder Gois for taking pictures and video of him.  Here are some pictures of Elder Schoemig.

That time we went to Safeco Field

Well basically the big story is that I went to Safeco field for a devotional with President Nelson and his wife and President Eyring. it seats 45,000 people and it was so awesome!!! Since I was interpreting for the event Elder Bird and I got to go under the stadium and we had all access passes, it was pretty sweet! But at one point we were walking through with this guy and the security guy stopped us right and says "Elders throw this away for me I've got work to do" and just hands me a bottle cap, so we just stand there as he leaves us and we then see President Eyring leaving a room and walking down the hallway away from us, we didn't get to talk to him but it was crazy for me to be thinking that I was going to be interpreting for him in just a few hours, and he had tons of security around him, it was cool. Then all the missionaries got to sit in suites and get snacks and stuff from the Seattle Everett and Tacoma missions and we even got two referrals! So awesome! Then they brought us back down to the field and we had to wait for President Nelson to come out, so we waited and he came out and then within like 20 feet of us. Wow, that man is a prophet of God. It was amazing then President Eyring, Sister Nelson and President Nelson just delivered some amazing messages.
President Eyring taught about what a joy it is to have a prophet and how we as members need to pray to sustain the actions of our church leaders and not just support them but seek revelation that what they are doing is the Lord's way and there will be more power then. Sister Nelson testified of her husband's call as the President of the Church. Then President Nelson taught us five things life had taught him. It was so great! The Spirit was amazing and interpreting was such a fun experience!
Anyway back to this week, not much happened, yesterday we tracted into a Deaf girl in a complex where we know there's tons of deaf people, it was so cool. When we tract at apartments like this we basically just walk around and talk to everyone and knock on whatever doors we feel we need to, and this was the very first door and a girl with a deaf sister answered! It was so great!
I'm doing great, Seattle is awesome, it keeps raining more and more 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love being out here serving the Lord, there is no place I would rather be than right here helping people come to the knowledge of their Redeemer and serve them! I know that President Nelson has been called of God to be His prophet on the earth today and as we follow the Lord's council through His prophet we will be safe ahead!
Love you all,

That time we got busy

Hola!
So everyone this week was pretty busy, mostly going from lesson to lesson preaching the word, as one does. And it was just great, we really tried to follow the Spirit and do what Heavenly Father did and it ended up really well, we were bold with our invitations and questions and got a lot of work done with our friends. Cool story for the week, we were able to interpret sacrament meeting for a Deaf guy in Vancouver Canada... So cool. We are teaching a lot of people all over Washington through the blessing of technology!
Funny story for the week, after pday on Monday we kicked some people off church property who were smoking weed. It was funny all I did was walk out and say "Hey what's up guys?" and they just ran away... Am I really that scary? Lol it was a strange experience.
This week was a learning experience in following the Spirit and relying on the Lord, which is something that we all need to do. The blessings flow when we truly rely on our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ to give us guidance and strength after we have done all that we can!
Love you all!

That time zone conference was so very legitimate

Well everyone this week was just crazy full of trying to improve myself as a missionary and as a person and there were many tender mercies from the Lord. Saw Him guiding my thoughts and my actions. Just summary, zone conference was so great! I loved it, Elder Bird and I gave a training that went well and we also received lots of good training on a huge variety of things but it didn't feel overwhelming, it felt like the Lord trusted us and knew we were going to get better, it wasn't a guilt trip or anything it was just there are things that we need to be better with and the through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can repent and improve, it really helped me so much. I love inspired meetings! Then just perfect timing to meet with some friends yesterday that we were trying to meet, great lessons with people and just overall being led by Heavenly Father to help and find His children and give them opportunities to go back home.

Fun story, we went to a HUGE deaf blind camp in Seabeck WA and long story short we got kicked out... All in the name of Jesus Christ though right? But we learned a ton about Protactile which is going to help us with out deaf blind members and friends! Oh it was so cool, nothing has made me so excited to help deaf blind people until then, I just loved it! Except for getting kicked out but oh well!

Anyway, it was a real fun time this week! I love being a missionary, remember "His arm is outstretched still" He is never too far for us to reach to Him and receive the blessings of obedience, that is one thing I've learned so far, I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I love you too!
