Exchanges and ASL class

Elder Schoemig didn't leave a title for this week email and from reading his email, it looks he went on a lot of exchanges.  Last Thursday was his one year mark.  We send him a package to celebrate his one year.

Hello everyone! This week was good, to start off, having to do 5 exchanges in a 3 week period is a very short time to do lot of things, it was crazy. So Tuesday I went with an elder in an English area and we taught some lit lessons to Manny and Letitia, they are doing well, Manny could literally be baptized any second he just needs to tell his family that he likes Mormons basically.
Anywho, onward we got busy on Wednesday
Then Thursday we did weekly planning then after we talked with some people. From the seventh day Adventist church, it was interesting.
Also Thursday we started our ASL class, super lit, like 30 people showed up first time and we taught two classes, it got so turnt.
Pretty good, week it was way good. This week was just a normal work week basically I just changed companions. Being a district leader is crazy, but pretty lit.
Anyway, this is a great week! I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and He loves us and wants us to be happy, the best way to be happy is to follow His commandments.
Love you all! Elder Schoemig

That time I don't even know what happened this week

This week was a blur, I don't have much to write about even, sorry mom.
But Tuesday was p day and we started out our 4 week transfer very excited, every single area in our zone got transferred except ASL.. Pretty lit. I have a whole new district, and Spanish is in the district, super excited.
Thursday got to do an exchange with the elders in Meridian, super cool
Friday not a lot happened, we have lots of lessons with Dhan and Bee, they are doing pretty well, also Manny is too and Letitia.
Well anyway, today out zone is going bowling so that's pretty lit, I'm excited to meet the district and the rest of the zone haha.
We had lots of member dinners, we never had any member dinners before, but now that elder Allmendinger has been here a while we've been having like 3 a week... Super crazy, kinda funny actually haha.
Anyway, I'm doing good, this is the Lord's work, I'm so excited to be here and building up the kingdom of God here in Seattle. The Book of Mormon is the best way to get a closer relationship with God, read it every day and you will see that too!
Love you all! Have a good week!

District picture - 6/4/18

District pictures, both of the other elders are dying.
What missionaries actually do.. just kidding... Mostly...

That time President Schofield got lit with transfers

Now I know what you're thinking, Elder Schoemig it's transfers you shouldn't email today! But they told us to email today, and I don't make the rules I just work here so....
But anyways transfers news came and I am staying ASL South with Elder Allmendinger for at least 4 weeks! This transfer will be short because of mission changes. But in our zone alone there are at least 3 whitewashes, and 2 areas closing and a bunch of other crazy transfers, and apparently that is mission wide. All approved by the apostles so that's pretty cool. We have been told to pray for confirmation that the mission we are transfering to is the will of the Lord, just like with our first mission call.
But anyways, on to the week. This week was pretty cool, did exchanges, with some dying missionaries... They were pretty trunky but oh well. Taught some lessons, I-5 closed so we couldn't get any investigators to church... Bummer. Manny and Dhan+Bee are doing good though. Love those lil guys it is fun to see them growing in the gospel and understanding more and asking questions and learning to understand the Spirit. Also got to do an impromptu exchange with ASL North and I got to teach a lesson in LIBRAS. Brazilian sign language, it was so cool, at the start I understood basically one sign in each sentence. But by the end I was talking to him in LIBRAS/ASL/gestures and it was so cool. The gift of tongues is a real thing, I'm going to start talking to Elder Camillo Gois in LIBRAS I think.
Anyway, I'm doing good, Elder Allmendinger is doing good.
I love being here, I am excited for the next chapter in my mission life #WEMmorethanthis. But seriously, I love both my missions can't wait to learn new things and just become a better servant for Jesus Christ.
Love ya!
